Meet Nick… Olympian, rugby player, cook!
I like to think that I’m pretty handy in the kitchen and on the barbecue. Cooking definitely isn’t a chore and I’d consider it a bit of a hobby away from Rugby. I’m Nick Malouf, an Australia Rugby 7’s player and Olympian. I recently returned from competing at the Rio Olympic Games, an incredible experience and a career highlight.
The road to the Olympics was particularly tough as I battled through 3 knee operations. With the lure of the Olympics before me, I focused on doing everything I could to get my body right. One of those focuses was making good choices around my nutrition. I had always eaten well, however, with a busy training schedule and juggling university, it is easy to take the easy (less nutritious) option.
There has got to be a less time consuming way to eat good, healthy, nutritious food every day and this is where my search for a meal delivery service began. Now the next dilemma, with so many options around, which service should I choose?
Pre-cooked and I just have to heat them up? But when cooking is a passion of mine, that just takes all of the fun out of it. Plus, I want to see the fresh ingredients and know what I’m putting in my body. So after all of that, my search led me to Pepper Leaf. It proved to be one of the best things I have ever done!
